Hi Nick,
your post on Mike O'Brien or Ob's passing brought up some vivid memories. My friend and still to this day my BFF Claudia Thomas lived next door to him. I remember Donnie and I were an item for a short time, and If my memory served me well, Charlie Murphy and I would practice kissing. What were we thinking, we didn't like each other but I guess we thought it was something we should practice at. I am a bit embarrassed to admit that, and I am thinking I was very young to be indulging in that behavior.
I remember the band and the names you mentioned brought back images of them in the garage or just hanging out in the neighborhood. Thanks for sharing the memories of innocent days gone by.
I am still friends with Donna Jardin and Claudia Thomas, I think that Archie lived across the street from Donna on Cardigan. Our lives went in different directions but we sought each other out and picked up where we left off just like no time had past us by. That is what is great about childhood friendships we see each other as goofy kids and accept that life has kicked us around and yet we remain kind.
