The best friend in my entire life. There was no one like Susan. I have a thousand memories of our experiences together. The car accident we had in her Dad's car coming back from the bookstore in Livermore. Seeing the Beatles. Our first time getting high. Working together at Johnson and Josephs at Jack London Square. Many trips to SF, watching sunset at the Sutro baths, drinking wine. Crewing for her Dad in the Friday night races. Trying to be cool and different, black go-go boots instead of white. A trip to Mexico the Summer after graduation.
She taught me so much. She was brilliant, funny, serious, hard on herself and beautiful. Not many a day goes by that something reminds me of her. Some people will live in your heart forever. She will live in mine.
