Paul died of cancer shortly after we graduated but I cannot remember the exact year. His mother got my mother into Real Estate for which our family will always be grateful. We were very close to the Schmedinghoff family. And it's nice I got this opportunity to remember.
Paul and I went "steady" for a few months in our junior year and was such a great guy. My brother and sister were furious with me when I broke it off! I have always felt so badly about his passing and think of him often.
We all knew Paul by his nickname (Schmeadly). He had a very cool White 1958 Thunderbird that had a retractible sunroof. Pauls Mom owned the realestate company Echelon and her office was in the Drug City (Romleys Market) shopping center in Dublin next to the hardware store that had the flourescent lights that made a very loud humming noise.
Paul and his older brother would often be at his moms realestate office. Paul had a Great since of humor and was always alot of fun to hang out with.
