I first met Ken Brown when we moved to silvergate in Dublin and we were going to Dublin Elementry school.
We both played Senior Little League on the same team The Raiders.
Ken was born with some sort of serious complications and wasnt supposed to live past childhood. We all new that his health wasnt good but that did not stop him from giving his all in everything that He did and because of his tenacity and just general go getter attitude we all tended to forget that he was really sick.
At times he would make me stop and think about his mortality by just commenting on how fortunate I was to have such a future ahead of me? Stuff that kids really did not reflect on.
Ken Loved Baseball and was a very good player dispite his health limitations he never complained about or let be known.
I had heard that Ken had died several years ago and the thing that is interesting is that he lived past grade school, past Jr. High,Past High School so I totally forgot about his disability and took for granted that he had made it and would have a normal life.
It was good to have known Ken and his family
