I remember Fred was one really cool, friendly guy. As I recall I think he died a very long time ago. If my memory is correct, as a part of the great band we had, Fred did a trumpet solo at our graduation, the National Anthem I think. I will have to check my notes, the day after we all graduated I wrote a LOT of notes of things I observed on our grad night. Maybe I'll share if they are interesting.
