I had Mr Estrada for drivers training and he would hold a hand grip exerciser in his hand and squeeze it really fast ,click, click, click, click to try to release tension of us unexperienced drivers running stop signs etc. We were in a brand new 1965 plymouth valiant that had brake pedals installed on the passenger side . Rosanne DuCharme was in our driver training class and we had to drive her to her house which was way out to the end of Sunol Canyon Road. It was a very good time to learn to drive because there wasnt any traffic back then and alot of empty country roads. We would drive out to where they were building the Vallecitos Dam and all around this big empty Valley,,,,Lots of fun. Michalene Rowsey had Mr. Estrada for spanish and He useto call her Flaka Etana

I had Mr Estrada in drivers Ed. I so remember scaring the living daylights out of him. I would hug the right side of the road going on Chicken Alley and he would say you can move over..LOL

I remember Mr Estrada shaking the steering wheel a few times as I was driving during the driver's ed class.  I finally took the wheel from him and said not to do it again.  LOL  It made me angry because it scared me.

I also remember my French teacher making all of the arrangments for her wedding.  We picked up invitations, made trips for the wedding dress and I think the cake.  We were all over the freeway to Oakland and parts of Pleasanton.  It was a fun time!

I remember Pete Estrada too and that Plymouth valiant for driver training but I believe I had Athenour as my instructor. We did drive everywhere. I recall Estrada made me stay after school for swearing in Spanish in class . I received A's from Estrada but almost flunked Spanish in my sophomore year from  Mr Uyeda so that's was the last Spanish class I took... Good old days!

I had Mr Estrada for Drivers-Ed too.  He seemed pretty relaxed when I drove with him [along with several other students in the car as well].  Good guy and patience of a saint.  Rest In Peace Pete.
