Oh my gosh. Mr. Dabney was my English teacher and one day he did a little exercise to see just how much we were paying attention. It involved him shooting a gun (using blanks, of course) at one of the students (might have been Terry LaRock or Bruce Munn, but don't quote me). Scared the heck out of all of us. I found I don't do well in situations like that because I was like a deer in the headlights, I froze, my mind went blank, and I couldn't remember a thing. Hah! I just found myself using the spellcheck -- you never know, Mr. Dabney might be reading this and I wouldn't want to disappoint him.

Mr Dabney was amongst one of my teachers. I really enjoyed him as a teacher. He was always smiling.
