Shirley Welch, Amador High School Counceling Secretary,  is remember by so many of us. She was the lady with the smile and knew you by your name. If you needed something, she was the one to go to. Sadly, Mrs. Welch passed away recently at the age of 94. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert Welch, 3 daughters, Claire DaRe (Mark Krumrey) Margo Kieser, Lenore Hagerty (Jack Hagerty), 6 grandchildren, Heather Fitch, Liam Hagerty, Bronwyn Hagerty, India Kieser, Teddy Kieser, Teddy Kieser, Charles Kieser,  and 4 greatgrandchildren, Lily, Walker, Daisie, and Emily.
