Michael's Latest Interactions
During our sophmore year at Amador I rode my Garelli 125 cc motorcycle to school from Dublin and Mike would let me park it at his house. I remember Mike taking his dads honda 305 cc scrambler down Burnell Ave.heading out of town towards the fair grounds at over 80 miles per hour and going over the railroad tracks ( which at that time were elevated ) and he flew thru the air like evil kinevel . I also remember him taking his Dads new buick reviera down foothill road at high speed and losing control an the curve just before Highland Oaks and flying thru the fence and landing in someones back yard. I believe Joann Rutherford was with him and she broke her arm. Exciting times at Amador High School. Just a few of Memories
Very sorry to hear about Mikes Passing

Thank you Michael for being a small part of my experience, though small, yet important. I hope you passed on the best parts of yourself to your posterity. You live on through them. Congratulations on a job well done. I write this as if you can see, read, hear, or otherwise experience this message, though I have no substantial evidence or reason to believe that is the case. We do these kinds of things mostly for ourselves, a way to process and contemplate our own mortality. Hopefully, a life well-lived. For the rest of us, here is food for thought from the King philosopher, Marcus Aurelius, circa 150 AD, Athens. See his book, "Meditations" Book Nine, entry #3 on death. And to the rest, thanks for the experiences I fondly recall of our interactions. They are a part of me. I value that.
Mike was my next door neighbor. Yes we were both in Mrs Jones kindergarten class at Alisal. We were best buddies growing up on school street in Pleasanton. I stopped by a while back to say hi to his mom and Dad when he was still alive; later again when it was just his mom also. You never forget your buds. It's hard for us as we grow older but memories are never forgotten. Mike and I went to the First Presbyterian church with Jim Annis, Roger Nerton, Debbie Bush, and many others. There was a teacher named Mrs. Yount who shared the Lord with us; so I know where Mike is. Thank you all for remembering Mike! He was a good friend!!!!
