Mike Lynn Beedon Leonetti, 55, of Twin Falls, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at St. Luke's Magic Valley Hospital in Twin Falls.

Mike was born Feb. 9, 1951, in Glendale, Calif., the son of Barbara Olsen and Hank Beedon. He attended schools in California, graduating from high school in Pleasanton, Calif. Mike was athletic throughout his life. He was a California State High School Wrestling Champion, played football, loved to ski, rock climb and ride motorcycles. After high school, Mike attended college until he realized being a ski bum was more important.

He would work at construction to support his skiing habit. He married Tina Puder on Sept. 1, 1984, in Reno, Nev., and then moved to Walnut Creek, Calif., where their daughter, Toni, was born. Mike and Tina later divorced. Mike moved from Walnut Creek to Twin Falls and continued working in construction. He was a connoisseur of fine beer and had the gift of gab, or the curse of gab, depending on which side of the conversation you were on. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Toni Leonetti of Twin Falls; one sister, Laura (Craig) Johnson of Ketchum, Idaho; and one brother, Mark (Sandy) Leonetti of Star, Idaho.

A party celebrating Mike's life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at Tribes Interiors, 203 5th Avenue South in Twin Falls. The family suggests that those attending bring photos, stories and any other memorabilia related to Mike's life.

Arrangements are under the direction of Payne Mortuary, 221 West Main St., in Burley.
