Gloria J. Marcellino, 47, of Kona, Hawaii, a dining room hostess at the Kona Village Resort, died last Wednesday at home. She was born in Oakland, Calif. She is survived by husband Daniel Navarro; sons Giovanni and Gabriel Marcellino-Navarro; brothers Gerald and Gene, and stepchildren Danny, Terry-lyn, Darwin, Delvin and Denise. Memorial services: noon to 1 p.m. Sunday at Daniel Navarro's residence, 73-1118 Oluolu St. Call from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.

I happened to meet Gloria Marcellino who was the dining room hostess at Kona Village when I was there in 1990. She was married to the chef and had a family, and loved living on the Big Island of Hawaii. I just found her obituary when trying to contact her through the resort. http://archives.starbulletin.
